What a Week!

We survived last week. It was a crazy week with 1-2 things going on each day, in addition to school and all the regular stuff. But we did it. We made it. We got everything done. Our week included helping out with Activity Days at church, soccer practice and Billy's church assignment, a women's meeting at church where Billy had to help watch the kids (so our kids were up late), a Hurricane Ike Reunion BBQ (can you believe it's been over a year?), two birthday parties, one monkey birthday cake and a trip to the Houston LDS temple, plus dinner with friends. We were all exhausted. Monday night, we put Matthew down at 6:30pm and the other two kids down at 7pm and they all fell right to sleep and slept the entire night until I had to wake them up for school. :)

This week isn't quite as busy, but it's still pretty busy. Part is due to Billy's schedule picking up (he's taking call again - ugh - three times this week alone), part is due to Emily's soccer games starting this Saturday, part is due to me trying to keep up with the two book clubs (unofficially) in our ward, part is due to the time of year (yes, I'm starting those Halloween costumes and working on Christmas stockings) and the rest is all the regular stuff - laundry and dishes and cleaning and grocery shopping that always need to be done.

I can't imagine how busy I'll be when these kiddos get bigger. :)
