More Halloween 2010

We did buy a pack of Snoopy masks so Matthew could wear one. He just didn't want to. Until today. Figures.

Friday we went to a Trunk or Treat/Fall Festival at church. I think it was the busiest Trunk or Treat I have ever seen. So many people. And so much candy. We had a great time.

Saturday we went trick or treating at the nearby outdoor mall. It was fun. Not too busy and most stores were participating. The kids were happy to wear their costumes again and get more candy. Megan sucked her fingers and drooled all over the feathers of her woodstock dress. :)

We went to a fabulous Halloween party Saturday night. Spooky food (mummy hotdogs, spooky face pizzas, pumpkin roll-ups, watermelon brain, bubbling witches brew, etc...) and fun games (ghost bowling, bobbing for apples, donuts on a string, etc...). We came home late and the kids were worn out.

He got tired of trying to get one with his mouth.

Daddy, I mean Charlie, just dove right in, getting his whole face wet. The kids thought it was great.

Making monster slime!

Donuts on a string. Classic. Matthew just used his hands here too.

As Halloween was on Sunday this year, in reverence for the Sabbath, we had decided to not celebrate Halloween on Sunday, but make the weekend fun, so the kids could still enjoy themselves but we could keep Sunday as our special church day. Mission accomplished. :) The kids didn't fuss once about not being able to trick or treat.

P.S. We're already wondering about costumes for next year - our LAST Halloween in Texas. (We can hardly believe it.)
