Blessing Day

Because we haven't ever had all of our family living near us (actually, we don't have any family living near us now), we always end up blessing our babies pretty soon after they are born, when our family is visiting. This past Sunday, April 20th, we were fortunate to have both sets of grandparents here in Houston and we blessed baby Matthew. It was a beautiful blessing and it made me so grateful that my husband can do this for our children. Of course, the two older kids didn't quite cooperate with the pictures afterward, but you just take what you can get. They're so thrown for a loop right now (with the new baby and grandparents visiting and spoiling), we're just trying to make it each day.

That is great that both sets of parents good be there. He looks adorable. Your family picture is realy cute. I am sure the kids adjusting will come soon. Let me know how that goes, I am a little worried about it myself.

Hey Matthew looked adorable in his little suit. Did you get another suit for him or was that Jacobs? Bet you will be glad when you can get things back to the New Normal.

So adorable! Glad it went well and you had lots of good company. And don't worry--the kids will adjust. But be prepared to unadjust yourself later on!

Matthew just wore the same suit as Jacob. It's hard to justify getting another one when they only wear for a couple hours! :) I wore my wedding dress longer than either of them wore the blessing outfit! :)
