In the Car

I've had a killer sore throat since Tuesday night.

Tuesday night.

It's Friday today.

It's made for a long week.

(I think it has finally made a turn for the better.)

The kids have had to put up with me gesturing, pointing and snapping my fingers to get their attention. :)

They've gotten pretty good at deciphering what I'm trying to say...er...communicate.

Emily even asked me where I learned sign language!

Today, when we picked up Emily from school, I managed to croak out, "How was school today?"

Her face lit up and she asked, "Mommy, are you talking more now?!"

Jacob answered, "No, but she points a lot."
