What a fun day she had. Having three older siblings means lots of excitement and she enjoyed the day just feeding off their enthusiasm. :) We sang "Happy Birthday" multiple times and she loved it each time.

Wasn't quite sure what to think about all the loud singing and a lit candle. She was serious the entire time.
At first she just looked at the cake and whined because she wasn't sure what to do with it/how to get it in her mouth. Then Emily mimed picking up cake and eating it and Megan got right on it. :)
She ate the whole thing. Plus some ice cream.
For those family members who couldn't be here with us (all of you) and those who have never met Megan (over half of you), here's a short video of our babbling, happy one-year-old. (Makes you want to come on down and see her, doesn't it? wink, wink.)

what a cute little one year old. great pictures. ah, i'm so sad i've never met her yet. makes me kick myself for leaving 2 days before she was born!
we are back on Skype. We will have to set up a visit. maybe she remembers my voice from being en utero?? :O)
