Jacob's Birthday

Friday, August 17th, was Jacob's 2nd birthday! I can't believe he's two already. The time has gone by so quickly. We threw Jacob a little "Car" themed birthday. His cake was a car, and his toys were all cars and trucks. I think it's so cute that he likes cars just like his daddy. Driving to San Antonio I'd hear Jacob say, "big car!" when he saw a semi (we're still working on that "truck" word) and then a little while later I'd hear Billy say, "that's the new Porsche!" :) Like father, like son.

So the following are some pictures from our little family party. We were real low-key, and it was nice.

Jacob blew the first candle out pretty quickly, but it took a lot longer to get that second one!

Jacob was saying, "Car! Yum!" all weekend.

Jacob had fun opening presents, and even though Emily was just dying to rip into all that wrapping paper, she did pretty well and only helped when we asked her to. :)

But isn't this the best part of a birthday?! Finally getting to play with all those fun new toys! Happy Birthday Mr. Man!
