Last year our friends took us to a great pumpkin patch up north and we had so much fun. Both the kids, but especially Emily, have talked about it ever since, so we knew we had to go again this year. Last Saturday we tried to meet our same friends up there in the afternoon, but it just wasn't meant to be. We ended up with the wrong directions which took us somewhere completely different. After two hours of driving, the kids were getting restless. Even Matthew was "yelling." (Not crying, but making really loud 'Ahhhh!' noises.) So, we decided to just get some dinner and try again another day.
Saturday we decided to try finding it one more time! :) We got up, copied the directions from the patch's website, and headed out. We found it (yay!!) and had a pretty good time. It was a bit more crowded than last year, even early in the morning, but it wasn't horrible. Here are some pictures from our trip. It was low 80's, sunny and hot! After a few hours, we were more than happy to load up our pumpkins, and sit inside our air-conditioned van to drive home!
And we're already looking forward to next year!
